Pre-op: this patient is a 5 foot tall, 19 yo female who has always been embarrassed by her ''boyish'' figure and 32A small breasts. Patient desired to use the largest implant appropriate to her chest skeletal and soft tissue characteristics that would give her the most natural appearing breasts. Dr. Moore and the ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons ) do not routinely recommend breast augmentation surgery for patients less than 21 years of age, however selected patients who are emotionally mature can be excellent candidates for the surgery.
Post-op: Dr. Moore customized her surgery by using a unique anatomic textured saline implant that is slightly wider than it is tall because of her short stature. This 300cc implant achieved the entirely natural optimal results shown here on postoperative photographs.
